Alyssa Perez is a senior! Bri has known the Perez family for a couple years. She photographed their oldest daughter, Isabel, for her senior portraits. She then photographed the Perez's family session this winter for their Christmas cards. Alyssa's session was held right in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids. Alyssa, Mike & Kristy (her parents), and Bri walked around downtown in search of fun backdrops! They started at the Commerce/Cherry Parking Ramp and then they moved around downtown in different areas along those two streets. Alyssa has an infectious smile and laugh that makes anyone want to be cheery. Congratulations on your senior year, Alyssa!Read More
Arielle and Kyle had their session this fall in Kalamazoo when the leaves turned colors and it was absolutely beautiful! They brought their two dogs along and Bri and Tierney had a lovely time photographing their family. At the end of the session, Bri suggested they climb into a tree if they were up for it and they totally did! It made for a very adventurous session!Read More
Erin and Ralph had their engagement session this fall in Kalamazoo. We hiked through the trails of Lillian Anderson Arboretum. After that, we ran across an older couple who told us we could photograph on their property, which was quaint home tucked closely in the woods on a lake. They even had a treehouse that we took photos in.. Bri and Autumn are looking forward to photographing their wedding in 2018!Read More
Nick proposed to Jessica and she said YES!
They've known one another since they went to school at Ferris in 2011. Nick contacted us a few weeks ago and then last week we went through a run through of the proposal. He had a sign he gave to us to hang up and a whole idea of how to arrange it all! We set up the sign, rose petals and champagne flutes an half an hour before he brought Jessica in blindfolded. Apparently, Nick does these sort of shenanigans a lot, so Jessica had no idea he was actually proposing this time!
Congratulations to you both!!Read More
The Chernawski Family has had Bri photographed for their business, Solcomm, and this year it came full circle as she photographed their family for the first time. They have 4 beautiful kids! The session was full of laughter and silliness - just how all sessions with a new baby brother should be!Read More

Fall mini sessions are one our favorite times of the year. The colors in the trees and the excitement in our families are what drive us to love what we do!
This year, we were able to capture several families on such a beautiful day, just before the really cold weather started to come.
This is the Noto family. Bri has been photographing their family for a long time now and has had the opportunity to watch Wesleigh grow and become such a fun and happy toddler. They did their session at Ah-Nab-Awen Park right near the water with the beautiful city in the background.Read More
@feelbetterdogood teamed up with @africayogaproject to provide a special class to those in West Michigan. The room was full of love, positivity and community. After teaching the class, Margaret, who is just one of the amazing members, shared her story of how the Africa Yoga project saved her life. The Africa Yoga Project provides her and many others not only with a well paying job but a purpose to impact their African community. Both children and adults are provided with the opportunity to get off of the streets and become part of the community.
The work that is happening in these communities through this project is influencing and entire culture through the power of yoga. We could not be happier to be able to take part in such an influential event in order to help our global communities.Read More
Bri had the honor of photographing a stylized session at South Haven Yacht Club this October. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and we even were able to go on a boat! This venue is not only beautiful but the exclusivity of the location and the ability for brides and grooms to arrive to their reception by yacht makes it one of the most unique experiences for the wedding party and their guests. We are happy to announce we are on their preferred vendor list and they are on ours as well. Take a look at the session below.
Venue: South Haven Yacht Club
Event Coordinator: Kimberly Schewe, South Haven Yacht Club
Food: South Haven Yacht Club
Hair & Makeup: Melanie Landry

Adam and Kris had a wonderful time photographing David's senior session.
David found us because he found a portrait of Adam that he liked, after doing some research David gave us a call. He wanted more of a studio portrait session than a traditional senior session outdoors, so to make that happen, Adam and David looked over images online in order to find the look and feel that David was going for.
David intends to go to school in Hawaii to study medicine.
Good luck David on your future endeavors! We know you will make it far!Read More

Bri has known The Kamar family since they were married, but she also has known Dani even before Nick in college. She loved photographing their engagement, wedding and Ellie's newborn photos. Now Ellie is 1! How fast time flies. Ellie is a sweet, intelligent, friendly baby. Whenever people or puppies walked past her during her session, she was quick to smile and wave. She also ate her cake with one finger at first, so delicate! Nick and Dani, we are so happy for your family. You are raising a beautiful, kind little girl!Read More
We have known Ahmed and Maureen since 2013. Adam and Bre photograph their wedding in 2014 in Detroit. When they reached out to Bre to schedule a newborn session she was so thrilled for their family! Autumn and Bre traveled to Bloomfield Hills to photograph baby Faris. He was one of the most calm and relaxed babies we don't even think he cried once during his session but his eyes were wide open and ready for the world!Read More
We all know the feeling of that moment when you are standing in front of a camera and you have no idea what to do with your body or where your arms are supposed to go.
We have all been there. But one thing to remember is, the less you think about it, the more endless the possibilities get.
Everyone wants to look natural and as comfortable as possible in their senior photos, but sometimes we just have no clue on how to make that happen.
Thankfully, we have created a short video that helps go over some poses and ideas that you can use in your future session!Read More
Adam and Autumn met with Katie & Jon back in January to discuss their plans for their wedding.
They were married on August 19, 2017 in an absolutely beautiful park near their home in Muskegon. Their ceremony was at the Muskegon Country Club, which of course, would overlook the Muskegon river.
They could not have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate their marriage.Read More
Megan and Rob are, by their own admission, people who do things a bit differently. Or a lot differently. They met over an accidental invitation, moved in together over a shared joke, and then started a family. So by their arithmetic, maybe it’s time for marriage.
As they do in their own custom, the wedding one of a kind. Under the shade of the trees of St. Matthias, surrounded by family and friends they married. And then, in the yard of the church strung with lights, everybody dined and danced. Food trucks fed all and a gelato cart cured late night dessert desires.
Like everything they do together, Megan and Rob’s wedding day was fun, spontaneous, relaxed. A little mischievous and completely full of love, it was a day entirely of their own making.Read More
Nicole and David met when they were students at Western Michigan University, but they didn't meet in class or on campus. Instead, they met at the local bar, Waldo's Campus Tavern, named after the first president of WMU. They wanted to have the campus be a part of their engagement session, so Adam and Kris packed up the car, and took a short road trip to Kalamazoo.Read More
Autumn, Bri and Tierney had the pleasure in documenting Kate and Matt's wedding at Michigan State University. They tied the knot on August 12th 2017 at their alma mater school. We were lucky enough to get access to the Spartan Stadium to photograph some formals of just the two of them.
