This past Sunday, Bri traveled to St. Joseph, MI and captured their session in the comfort of their home. Elyse had shared a mood board with her and the first photo that caught Bri's eye was one where the momma-to-be was sitting on a counter in the kitchen. Elyse told Bri that each morning her and Kevin make coffee together. Also, Elyse and Kevin are coffee connoisseurs. They'd even talked about opening their own coffee shop one day. So, that's where the session started, in their kitchen, re-creating their morning coffee routine.Read More
This month we had the privilege to photograph triplets right before they made their debut on the news!
Gold Coast Doulas contacted us since we partner with them on many things and told us how one of their clients had triplets. We were excited to be a part of telling their story and incorporating why it's such a great idea to have a little extra help when you are raising triplets.
Post-partum support is a big part of Gold Coast Doula's mission. Many of the doulas offer support to mothers who have just had one baby, but it's extremely essential for those who have had multiples in making sure mom gets some time to rest as well as coordinating feeding and naps for more than one babe at once. Take a look at our fun triplet photo shoot and see what the doulas help with in the home!
December 30th, 2017, Aaron and Jessica said "I do"
While we got to watch their love transpire through these powerful photos, we were also able to document their day using the power of video production, something that we are now offering!
This day could not have gone any smoother. From the very beginning, Jessica and Aaron were thrilled to be married in less than 6 hours, each of them shared incredible moments between their friends and family and you could feel the love in the room.
Take a look at these photos and see for yourself just how amazing this day was!Read More
This year we tried something new in order to make our studio stand out. Adam built a wall for us to use during our trade shows, but we are thrilled that it will also be doubling as a studio background as well.
This is something that we have wanted for a long time and now Adam has made it a reality. With this reality came many challenges, but we wanted to share his step by step process and his accomplishment.Read More
As I am sitting here looking out the window, I am gazing out at the snow looking back on when days were longer and the weather was warmer.
This session was such a joy! These two married a year prior to this shoot and since they never had great photos taken they wanted to have the engagement session experience. This was a chance for Sarah to get all dolled up in her wedding dress once more. The amount of love and silliness that these two have is undeniable, it is no wonder that their son is the same way.
I wish these two, nothing but happiness in their future endeavors.
Congratulations once more Sarah and Santiago!
This year we decided to try something new for our family Christmas minis. We created our own take on Santa in order to make it more fun!
We finally celebrated our Hipster Santa event at 6.25 Paper Studio! Families, children and a hip hound named Zada showed up to take their photos in some of the most eclectic outfits. Even the Mayor Rosalynn Bliss came out to have her photo taken with hipster Santa.
Everyone had so much fun and we could not be happier with the results from this years Christmas minis.Read More
This year was our first year photographing at the Women's City Club Bob Crachit Dinner Series. There were 3 evenings this holiday season where dinner, dancing and cocktails were served for wonderous holiday cheer. We offered a portrait area for all members and guests to have their family photos taken. We were honored to be able to capture each and every family and couple and friend group! We look forward to more events at the Women's City Club in 2018.Read More
The Solt Family contacted Bri for their family session as soon as they moved to Grand Rapids. Amanda knows Christy Brown, whose family Bri has photographed since she started at The People Picture Co. Bri suggested Reed's Lake as the location for their family session and it was one of the days in December that was 70 degrees! It made for a good session for their little one, Emilia and their pup.Read More
At only two weeks old Charlotte was wide awake during her session. Typically when that happens time is very limited for the baby before they start to cry, however, Charlotte was truly amazing and barely fussed at us. We were even able to get some great shows of her all dressed up in her Christmas outfit, just in time for the holidays!
We are so excited to show off the images from her newborn session!Read More
Everyone knows the story of Buddy the Elf. Buddy found out he was not an elf working in Santa's workshop, but instead, he was a human that had a father back in New York City.
When Buddy finds his dad, he is not as welcoming as Buddy had imagined. However, Buddy meets an amazing woman named Jovie, whom he falls in love with.
Eventually, Buddy's family grows fond of him and together they save Christmas!
Now, this is a very short version of the story, but what was truly incredible was the show that these Stagegr kids put on. For two weeks the cast had put on four shows and they had a blast doing it.
Take an inside look at the show and see for yourself just how much energy that these kids have.Read More
Alyssa Perez is a senior! Bri has known the Perez family for a couple years. She photographed their oldest daughter, Isabel, for her senior portraits. She then photographed the Perez's family session this winter for their Christmas cards. Alyssa's session was held right in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids. Alyssa, Mike & Kristy (her parents), and Bri walked around downtown in search of fun backdrops! They started at the Commerce/Cherry Parking Ramp and then they moved around downtown in different areas along those two streets. Alyssa has an infectious smile and laugh that makes anyone want to be cheery. Congratulations on your senior year, Alyssa!Read More
Arielle and Kyle had their session this fall in Kalamazoo when the leaves turned colors and it was absolutely beautiful! They brought their two dogs along and Bri and Tierney had a lovely time photographing their family. At the end of the session, Bri suggested they climb into a tree if they were up for it and they totally did! It made for a very adventurous session!Read More
Erin and Ralph had their engagement session this fall in Kalamazoo. We hiked through the trails of Lillian Anderson Arboretum. After that, we ran across an older couple who told us we could photograph on their property, which was quaint home tucked closely in the woods on a lake. They even had a treehouse that we took photos in.. Bri and Autumn are looking forward to photographing their wedding in 2018!Read More
Nick proposed to Jessica and she said YES!
They've known one another since they went to school at Ferris in 2011. Nick contacted us a few weeks ago and then last week we went through a run through of the proposal. He had a sign he gave to us to hang up and a whole idea of how to arrange it all! We set up the sign, rose petals and champagne flutes an half an hour before he brought Jessica in blindfolded. Apparently, Nick does these sort of shenanigans a lot, so Jessica had no idea he was actually proposing this time!
Congratulations to you both!!Read More
The Chernawski Family has had Bri photographed for their business, Solcomm, and this year it came full circle as she photographed their family for the first time. They have 4 beautiful kids! The session was full of laughter and silliness - just how all sessions with a new baby brother should be!Read More
Bri has known the Hall Family since her and her husband bought their first home and moved into their neighborhood in 2013. She loves taking their portraits each year and has a lot of fun with them. And now, Nicole pictured below with her family, is Bri's son, Soren, daycare provider! This year, the Hall family went to the Downtown Market for their photo session and the kids had a blast!Read More
Fall mini sessions are one our favorite times of the year. The colors in the trees and the excitement in our families are what drive us to love what we do!
This year, we were able to capture several families on such a beautiful day, just before the really cold weather started to come.
This is the Noto family. Bri has been photographing their family for a long time now and has had the opportunity to watch Wesleigh grow and become such a fun and happy toddler. They did their session at Ah-Nab-Awen Park right near the water with the beautiful city in the background.Read More
@feelbetterdogood teamed up with @africayogaproject to provide a special class to those in West Michigan. The room was full of love, positivity and community. After teaching the class, Margaret, who is just one of the amazing members, shared her story of how the Africa Yoga project saved her life. The Africa Yoga Project provides her and many others not only with a well paying job but a purpose to impact their African community. Both children and adults are provided with the opportunity to get off of the streets and become part of the community.
The work that is happening in these communities through this project is influencing and entire culture through the power of yoga. We could not be happier to be able to take part in such an influential event in order to help our global communities.Read More
Bri had the honor of photographing a stylized session at South Haven Yacht Club this October. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and we even were able to go on a boat! This venue is not only beautiful but the exclusivity of the location and the ability for brides and grooms to arrive to their reception by yacht makes it one of the most unique experiences for the wedding party and their guests. We are happy to announce we are on their preferred vendor list and they are on ours as well. Take a look at the session below.
Venue: South Haven Yacht Club
Event Coordinator: Kimberly Schewe, South Haven Yacht Club
Food: South Haven Yacht Club
Hair & Makeup: Melanie Landry

Adam and Kris had a wonderful time photographing David's senior session.
David found us because he found a portrait of Adam that he liked, after doing some research David gave us a call. He wanted more of a studio portrait session than a traditional senior session outdoors, so to make that happen, Adam and David looked over images online in order to find the look and feel that David was going for.
David intends to go to school in Hawaii to study medicine.
Good luck David on your future endeavors! We know you will make it far!Read More
